Buy Harbor Freight for OCCASIONAL USE tools, i.e. something to hang on a wall. When I first needed to equip my workshop that was the only place I could afford to go. But that experience has taught me NEVER to buy electrical tools, jacks/rams or anything "hardened" (air chisels, taps/dies). In fact, wherever quality, durability or accuracy are a consideration, go someplace else. Particularly troubling was the 2 ton floor jack that collapsed suddenly only 30 seconds after I got out from under my F250. Of course, others' experiences might well be different, assuming they're alive to tell.
