Hello..... Would these 9.00 X 14' Radials have the 'look', or outer design of the Chrysler Corp's Tires from the Late '50's, and is 2" the correct whitewall for '58 Chrysler/DeSoto? Does anyone know if this large tire is 'suitable' for cars that originally came with either the 8.00 or 8.50 X 14" bias ply tire and 6" X 14" rim? The Adventurer and 300 were outfitted with the 9.00 tire, but they utilized a larger rim, one that was 6 1/2" X 14"......I am just wondering if this is correct, and would I have to find larger rims for these larger tires?  !
; ..........Also, I am in need of one or two (New, or good used) 8.00 X 14" Remmington WWW Bias Ply Tires. I think this is a 2 1/2" whitewall, and was told they are no longer being produced.....they were purchased at least 5-7 years ago.... I have a set of 3 in 'like new' condition for my other car, and really need one more to complete the set. Will consider any tire in 'usable' condition, as long as the whitewall is in nice shape. If anyone has one or two (I could also use a second one as a spare..) just 'lying around the garage', or if you are going to change to this radial style from the remmington let me know. It would be much appreciated, as well as any feedback on the New WWW. Thanks, Kevin Surniak. Los Angeles. ('58 DeSoto Fireflite Coupe) P.S. : I am still trying to locate the 'Ribbed Aluminum' Spring Sp!
ecial Side Trim, NOS or good used, for my Fireflite 2-dr Sportsman. Any leads appreciated; esp. trying to locate the large rear quarter panel pieces.....
