There is no substitute for the appropriate tool.          I bought my (used)
hub puller from a local  Mopar restorer/vendor.
I found out the hard way (bent hub) how important to use the best, heaviest
duty puller you can find (either to rent or to purchase).
And as Roy said, keep the axle nut ON, so that when the hub lets loose, it
won't fly off and hit you.
