Has anyone else come across parts on their car that are different from what is shown in the Service Manual? For example the idler arm that came out of my car has a flat roller bearing between the arm arm and the bracket and between the arm and the center link. the replacement and service manual only have a rubber sleeve (like a piece of heater hose) I will re-use the bearing but I thought is was strange that I cant find a reference to it. Likewise the service manual shows the inner tie rod to center link joint having a dust boot just like the outer tie rod, not so on my car there was a 1/4 inch thick flat rubber bushing inside a flat washer. Finally there are 2 different rear springs that came out of the car. One has shallow "U" shaped channels down the center of the springs just like in the service manual, the other has plain flat spings ,but i suspect this was probably changed at some point during the cars lifetime.
