BTW, the '55 Belvedere was red and black with a red and black interior. It was also probably the "coolest" car around my neighborhood for about 6 months... Till one of the guys bought a '50 Merc that was in the process of being customized, chopped, channeled and lowered in the rear to about 4 inches off the ground with rolled and pleated white Naugahyde interior.
