Just to add to Terry's post, AFAIK all '55 Windsors had the 301 Spitfire poly. This replaced the 250-ci flathead Six used in '54 and earlier Windsors. Pretty sure all US '56-'58 Windsors (and '57-'58 Saratogas) also had poly V8s. Not sure what size the domestic '56 Windsor had although 331 seems possible in light of the '57-'58 having 354s. Canadian '56 Windsors shared the 318-poly-related 303 with the '56 Fury and Canadian '56 Dodge Custom Royal. My guess is that $9500 would be pushing the envelope for a Nassau in show condition, let alone #3.
