In the case of the 55 or 56 Chryslers I have good original seat brackets available to use instead of the rusty originals. Can't help with the 57 though. Someone should have good used ones available to replace them though. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Walter Landry" <waltlandry@MEDIAONE.NET> To: <L-FORWARDLOOK@LISTS.PSU.EDU> Sent: Monday, September 03, 2001 9:25 PM Subject: Re: [FWDLK] need front seat help I don't have a fix but I have the same problem with my 56 Firedome. Let me know how to fix this problem. I pulled my front seat out of my 1957 Desoto today. The bottoms of the seat mounts were so rusty that three of the mounting studs broke off. Does anyone have a fix for this or is there a replacement part available? My car is a four door sedan. Jason
