Eventually, I want to put a stereo/CD player, with a high
power amp in my 59 Dodge. At some point, my car was converted to an alternator
system. I am thinking about hooking up the original generator system. Are there
any issues with running the modern stereo system with a generator? I thought I
have heard that there may not be enough power. Any truth to that? Any
experiences?
As a sort of follow up, what are some thoughts about even
doing the switch back to stock. Are the aesthetic advantages of being stock out
weighed by the disadvantages of the generator system? Is it that big of a thing?
