Some of you may remember me mentioning Andrew Sharpe at the National DeSoto Convention. He was the one from Australia that bought my '59 New Yorker in San Francisco and drove it to PA for the meet. Well, today he came back to San Francisco in the '59. He figured he must have traveled around 8,000 miles. The reason the miles are so high is that he doubled-back around 1,000 miles to catch a Jerry Lee Lewis concert! I bought the car back from him, as he had a flight to go back to Australia today. He had me take a picture of him next to the car and then I gave him a ride to the airport in my '61 Newport conv. with the top down. He was thrilled. His whole trip was really pretty amazing. It was his first trip to the US and what a way to go. I am sure when he gets back home and settled in he will be talking about his trip on this list. His trip was a true testament to Mopar cars of that era. Nick Nichols
