Re: [FWDLK] Mirror Question

Karl,

Since many cars, not only Mopars, came from the factory without outside
mirrors, they were then installed by the dealer at the customer's request.
Therefore, either position could be 'correct'. My dad's '56 300-B came
through with no outside mirror, and still doesn't have one, as the original
owner drag-raced the car and thought the mirror would cause too much wind
resistance! BTW, this is the only '56 300 I've seen with a radio delete and
manual steering.

Subject: [FWDLK] Mirror Question

What is the proper mounting place for a 1956 Chrysler Mirror? I have seen it
on the door, and I have seen it on the fender. Which is correct?
Thanks,
Karl
