Hi group, When looking at a wiring diagram, one sees "16 Orange", or "18 Red & Black". What does the number in front of the color specifies ? I would suppose it is wire surface related, as in Europe we specify wire capacity by the copper surface (ie 2.5 square millimeters or 0.75 square millimeters) in the section of the wire. But what unit is it ? Thanks. Vincent Van Humbeeck (France, 120 miles north of Paris) '58 Plymouth Belvedere Sport Coupe |
