Regarding the "1957 Adventurer" for sale on "Collectorcartrader.com"....NO 1957 Adventurer EVER sported those colors, trim or engine. That car is Fireflite through and through. Not only didn't the Seller know what they were talking about, but after looking at several other DeSoto's for sale through that site, it seems like a good place to sell your car if you don't know anything about it, what to call it, or want call it whatever you want.....I mean LOTS of misinformation...quoting wrong engine's, models, etc etc. Bad news for an uninformed buyer craving a Finned Forwardlook. Caveat Emptor! Here's a riddle for you.....does anyone know when the DeS Adventurer, was really a DeS Firesweep? Leon in Ohio '56 DeS Firedome '57 DeS Firesweep
