I second the motion... the old adage applies here.. let the buyer beware! I've paid more than a part was worth once or twice, but managed to get a part I needed without ever leaving my desk chair. The choice was mine. More often I've gotten an excellent deal on someone elses "junk", that I was in dire need of for one of my projects. How else could we find parts that someone half way across ths country has lying around in their garage? And when I decide to sell some things that I no longer need, I can sell it to someone who really wants or needs it, and if there is more than one of those people, they can decide who wants it the most! Most of these things would simply get sent to the scrap without a way to find the needy buyer. eBay has become one of my favorite on-line haunts. All kinds of treasures there, that you may not find anywhere else. Steve Charette |
