I've recently had my 63 Sport Fury Convertible (Orginal Poly 318/w 727 Torqueflite) and 65 Belvedere II Convertible (273w/ 904 Torqeflite converted. The way I understood it to be done, a custom slip yoke was machined for the transmission and the end of the driveshaft was cut off and replaced with the necessary fitting for a u-joint. The driveshaft was rebalanced and everything went together smooth as silk. Total cost, parts and labor was less the $450 for each car. I'm so pleased that I'm going to have my 63 Fury big-block bracket racer done next. -mel PS - This was done by Bob Halberg at Keeney's Oregon Auto Service in Creswell, OR.
