Hi again, I was looking under the hood of the wagon after getting it off the trailer, and noticed something I did not see before. There is a brass ID plate on the firewall, I assume put there by the original owner. "The US Forestry Service." The ID plate shows the wagon being built in August of 1959, has the Plymouth ID number, empty weight, purchase contract ID number, Forestry Service Serial Number and I can't remember the other numbers. Sometime later the car was sold to an ambulance service in WaKeeny KS...in the dash there is a blank bill with some maintenance records written on the back. Starting in 1972 with 45,441 miles showing on the odometer and ending in 1977 with 46,605 miles. Today it shows 48,176 miles. I crawled in and opened up the third seat, and it has like new red and white seat covers on it. Looks like when they painted it red for the ambulance service, they covered the blue/green original seats. I am going to take those covers off, and see what the orignal seat material looks like. I am hoping to see a decent example of the the original colors and materials, as this seat has been protected from the sun by being folded down most of it's life. I will be looking for a spare tire cover panel for the right rear quarter and a middle seat. If anyone on the list has these for sale, please email me. Thanks, John
