I saw the PT Cruiser at the Barret-Jacckson Auction in Phoenix two months
ago. Chrysler sponsored the auction and I was there on other business,
although I wish I could have been a shopper. Of course the styling touches a
primal nerve in all who see it. It looks like a fun car and it is reasonably
priced. My criticisms...its small inside, like a Toyota Rav 4. I try to
hype it to my friends looking for a new car. "Wait till the PT comes out.
You'll love it!" Then I show them a picture. They get excited until they
find out NO four wheel drive. This has happened more than once. "But 4
wheel drive is unnecessary where you live", I tell them. You know how far
that argument gets. "But it looks like an SUV", they tell me and begin to
look at other cars.
