Yes, go back and rebid a little higher, that way you leave some room for those guys that like bid a penny or a quarter at the last second. You do risk paying a higher price, but if the part is really needed, it may be worth the slightly extra expense. There are folks on ebay that only bid on auctions that have almost ended, they go down through the list and add penny bids here and there. Your only defense is to have a little extra down on what you want, and to monitor things right at the closing.
