I don't think it's so much that Plymouths have been re-badged Dodges, as that they didn't give Plymouth enough models...why no Plymouth version of the hugely successful LH cars ? and why no Plymouth version of the Sebring/Avenger (that would have been the ideal car to name Fury)? And slapping the "Chrysler" badge on the back of existing Plymouths will only serve to dilute the prestige value of the Chrysler nameplate...my last 5 cars have Chryslers (LeBaron, Concorde, and now a 300M) which to me feels like a "step-up" from the Plymouths and Dodges I'd driven in the past...will the "Chrysler" marque still be viewed that way ? I am also surprised that the dealers aren't up in arms, I believe that loyal customers of Chrysler-Plymouth dealerships, no longer finding what they want there (a Neon, for example) will defect to Dodge or worse, Ford or Chevy, or even WORSE..Toyota, Nissan, etc... So they "starved" Plymouth by not giving them enough cars to sell...my view, anyway. Barry
