If you know the name Bob Schmidt as a premier restorer in
Phoenix over the last 10 years who has restored numerous cars
that have appeared in magazines, on calendars, have brought big
bucks at Scottsdale, etc. etc. I can tell you the man buys Lemon
Pledge by the cases to use on those cars. He even uses it on
the epoxy coated floor of his shop. He suggested I buy stock in
Johnson's wax, the maker of Pledge, just based on the amount he
was using.
And yes, several others use it too. We all have our preferences
and I've tried it but didn't get all that excited about it.
I can tell you Bob's shop smelled great and even wives didn't
mind strolling among the finished and project cars.
