It is important that DaimlerChrysler includes at least one make and/or model from the history of AMC, which I believe we have, to show these former brands so they are not forgotten. Don't forget Dodge was a merger from Dodge Brothers in 1928, but many of us think of Dodge a an original division like Plymouth. The Walter P. Chrysler Historical Museum was constructed to show spectators where the company started, where we have grown and its past mergers, and how many brands have come together over the past 100 years. Overall there are more traditional Mopars like Chrysler, Imperial, Plymouth, Dodge, Dodge Truck and De Soto then you might think. It is important to have representation of all the brands that Chrysler had acquired over the years. The Ramblers, Hudsons, Nashs and others should be a part of the display. There are no plans of including Mercedes Benz vehicles in the museum. CJS :>) |
