BUT!!! The only thing to look out for is the crank flange is different on 62
and earlier Iron case Torqueflite equipped cars from  cars equipped with later
Aluminum Torqueflites. 62 is supposed to be the changeover year, so you should
probably find a matching later model aluminum torqueflite from 62-65. This was
the last years with a pushbutton torqueflite and should adapt right to your
car. Then keep your original 383 or 361 ( I assume) and tranny for spares. If
you have an original 318 or slant 6 equipped car, (unlikely), then you will
need a matching transmission for the big block motor anyway.
