I'm a member of another list, and man, those dudes get real up-tight at the
slightest provocation!  So the more I appreciate the civility of this list.

Yes, it's important to have input on vendors, as any careful consumer does
his/her homework before spending money.  At the same time, it's not
honorable to have a "slam-fest."

I have to agree with Mel. I think that if I were going to purchase something
from someone on the net, or anywhere else for that matter, and I had a
question about their honesty, I would post in this forum and ask to be
mailed
to privately. I think that would work just as well as anything.
