Happy Fourth of July to All......AND.....
We got Jason's 56 Belvedere put back together after a complete interior
revamp and a few minor mechanical repairs over the winter. He (Jason)
drove it home today (just got his learner's permit) and he had a ball.
He's so proud!!
(After putting on the final touches yesterday, we got it washed at a
Girl Scout car wash and he got whoops and whistles from all the girls -
he grinned from ear to ear!!)
Now that it's almost roadworthy (still needs power steering parts and
seatbelts) Jason will be driving it more and more in his quest to pass
his license test in September when he turns 16 (ouch!).
We have taken a few pics and Jason (the computer wizzard) can get them
scanned and we'll send them out.
Sorry this was so long, but, proud dad had to let everyone know about
our father-son project and that our (Jason's) 56 is "on the road".
