Thats a very reasonable price. I thought the rate was normally nearer 50 cents per mile. Check for insurance etc. ---------- From: Paul Clark[SMTP:paulcl@xxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, September 28, 1998 11:44 PM To: tehoema@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx; L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [FWDLK] car hauling rates? I've just been in touch woth someone who will haul my '36 Nash Lafayette on a trailer from Columbus to Seattle for 25 cents a mile, which works out to about 700 bucks. Is this a reasonable price? Should I jump on the chance, or hold off? I'd love to get my Nash out here, but it's a fair chunk of change. Any experience with car hauling? Thanks, -Paul Clark paulcl@xxxxxxxxxx |
