i have a car to offer for sale: 1959 plymouth belvedere 2dr hardtop. 24k orig miles on body, was a 318/powerflite, now has a big block detailed as a golden commando, engine is a 030 over 400, modified only with a 440/350 cam, new t-chain, lifters, gaskets all over, etc... trans is a 727 from a 74 new yorker. the driveshaft is custom made, the rear is original. all suspension is perfect, so is frame, the brakes have all new lins, hoses, and rebuilt wheel cylinders. body is very clean. the soft sections from sitting in a barn for 27yrs were cut out and replaced with all metal; inner rochers, outer rockers, and seat mounting area, extra floor rails were added for strength over stock. the car is basically ready for paint and reassembly, and i have everything- its originally coral w/black top/ coral + silver int... interior components are all truely mint, except the front seat, but including rubber "carpet" and headliner, etc. the only deviation from stock is a custom floor shifter, not ratcheting or anything complicated. the only outside stuff that needs to be done is replate bumpers. its basically turnkey- but not done yet so to say. it has the quality approval of a few list members already. i'm in north jersey and have a few transporters i deal with. i am asking @4500 and pretty firm, i doubt you can find one like this at this price right now- i know i cant. i may go ahead an dfinish it soon, then the price will adjust accordingly. no toilet seat on the trunk!! interested? jrawa@xxxxxxx i am only selling due to space + time constraints, i just sent a 57 belv to WI. jim (nj, 57-59plyms) |
