This talk about parts house people strikes a familiar cord with me, I thought it was just the idiots locally but seems I am wrong. Its not just our "old" cars but the new ones also. I needed a part for my truck and you would think that I had something built on Mars or something. All I wanted was a rear wheel seal for a 96 Dodge 1ton/w diesel engine, the guy told me that Cummins didn't make a small enough engine to fit in a rig that size, I must be mistaken, it has to be a gas engine. I finally got hold of the oldest guy there (all of 22) and after getting very angry and threatening to take my business elsewere they finally "found" a listing for the 96 in the computer.
