Hey, it's your car. You have to ask permission? I love "All" classic cars, boats and Harleys. I usually upgrade my drive trains, especially if I'm restoring a daily driver, but I keep all the original stuff (if available) so as to put it back if needed. I always go with radials and I have never owned a car that I didn't lower exept my 4X4's. My Harley is lowered, my 67 Vette is lowered, 70 El Camino is lowered, my 53 Ford f100 is lowered and when I locate my 58 Chrysler, I will lower it too. Not slammed, just so it looks a little "Different". The only vehicle I will never lower is my boat (Hopefully). The main idea of being in the classic/hot rod/restoration arena is because we are all a little different that the "run of the mill" person out there that uses his/her car as transportation or status symbol.
