Just sold a 64 300K to man in Florida who would have paid me to deliver at same rate as hauler who I believe got 7-800 for 1500 mile trip. At .32 per mile which really wouldn't have covered all expenses by any means I would still have needed much more to do trip. got to admit Florida sounded nice in January but not this year. Don't know how some of the haulers actually make money. this guy was from Idaho and subcontracted to some company in NY and really hoping I knew of car for him to haul also. The .32/mile is government figure for average car and doesn't even begin to cover cost for Van in my case or trailer! ---------- From: ron[SMTP:ron@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Sunday, March 22, 1998 11:30 PM To: tehoema@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx; L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: A little Transportation info Dad and I were looking at a 55,Ply in NewYork.
