I was also at englishtown this weekend. I was there the entire wekend camped
out as a vendor. I didn't get a chance to meet John Paxos. I left early
Sunday morning., I met Scott who is building the drag racing 56 plymouth.
Nice guy. he was a trooper waling around on Friday afternoon in the rain.
Saturday was the modified vehicle day and the one that interested me the
most was.
a 1956 Belvidere 4 door red and white. Camaro subframe, tuned port 350.
Power brakes, steering. Custom made fiberglass inner fenderwells. Newer
Jaguar mirrors moulded up off the doors. bucket seats. camaro console,
custom dash, air conditioning and a power sunroof. I took a couple pics,
we'll have to see how they come out. I talked to the guy. I think he may
have been portugese. He was a real nice guy and he talked on how he built
the car using stuff out of other cars and he did a 4 door because when cops
see 2 door, they think Hot Rod and just start writing tickets.
