Folks, Got too many projects, and my wife has convinced me that one of the '61s has got to go. Since I'm kind of attached to the Fury (too much sweat equity over the last six months), this means the Newport's on the block: 1961 Chrysler Newport. 4-door hardtop, white with red top. All original, 41,000 miles. 361 w/pushbutton torqueflight, red "Highlander" interior. Options include radio, PS/PB, day/night mirror, dual external mirrors (driver's remote, but has not been completely installed yet). Body has had repair, but it was done professionally and looks very good (good enough to come in second in class at several shows last year - not much you can do against someone who's stuffed $45,000 into their '57 300!), paint is three years old and great. Bias ply wide white walls are on the car. Interior is also great. Dash has some small cracks and a warp near the instrument cluster, but I have an extra dash that comes with the car that's in better shape. New carpet. All instruments, lights, and other electrics work. Engine will need to be rebuilt since the original owner (a true little old lady) put 35,000 miles on it going 1/4 mile to and from the store. I have all the receipts for the work I've done. I was driving it daily until I got our Fury on the road. It's been in storage ever since. No reason it can't drive to a new home. $4000 The following is the list of 61 Chrysler items that I've got clogging up the garage. I'd like to sell the whole package for $250. Buy the car and I'll throw them in.
