I think I might have found a source for Type "A" transmission fluid.
Dennis at Hicks oil is asking "HOW MANY" folks WANT TYPE A
trans fluid to mopar specs????
I told him that I would survey the group.
He thinks that they would have NO PROBLEM coming up with a batch
formulated to the correct specs. But probably by the Gallon, not Quart.
Quarts are probably out because they would have to package and label
(no specific labels at this time)
Speculation is $2.50 - $3.00 per gal + container.
He says his boss is an old car buff.
It seems that Hicks Oil does some race sponsoring in Ill.
They also seem to be a small firm (i.e.; not a major refiner)
Dennis did seem familiar with what was needed. I think he is their
technician.
