just to make things interesting here, in commentary to dave's correct engine color schemes, on every car i restore, i paint the waterpump pulley purple, as a trade mark, yes even on the original owner 57 fury!!! think about the clash on my 59... red engine, gold cvrs + air cleaner, orange wires and a purple pulley..... it looks good.. so there are 7 forwardlookers out there w/this colored pulley.. maybe in 10 years it will be debated..REMEMBER WHO STARTED IT!!! jim |
