The 1956 Imperial -- and other similar Chrysler products, I think -- have an adjustment screw on the steering gear box that is held in place by a lock nut. You tighten the screw to remove slack from the steering. The nut loosens easily but the screw is frozen in place. I have tried to loosen the screw with penetrating oil to no avail. I am afraid to use heat on the screw. Two questions: 1. Any suggestions for breaking loose this frozen set screw? 2. Any recommendations regarding someone to rebuild the steering gear box?
