Dave says it all about Hershey. My friend invited me to set up in the white field with him.. So I went. This was my first time to go to Hershey. On Thursday when we arrived, they wouldn't allow us to go to our spaces in the White Field so off to the motel we went. Down near Manheim, Pa. We got up Friday and went to the field. They let us in and we did get some tables out and some things on them but the real exersize we got was covering and uncovering them all day. Saturday was different. Pored all the was to the White Field from the Motel and then stopped. It didn't rain the rest of the day and we were able to get all the stuff out of the van on display for the spectaters and soon it was time to pic up and go see the cars. All in all we had a good time. After all you never know what will be with the weather. My friend Bob,who is 75 years young, said that this would be a great time for a psychiatrist to come along. We all have this mental sickness. To walk in the slop and mud and get wet just looking for good ol parts and stuff. I took my Dads pair of Seagraves fire truck hard rubber tires from the teens so early 20's. He told me to not bring them back. They weigh a ton. Well they are in my barn now. they came back. Almost had them sold but I think the marrage would not have lasted as the wife wanted them for her flower garden and he wanted no part of them. I think if I was the husband in that case I would have bought them for her. After all she was wallowing through the mud just for him to find parts. Jack Johnson 55 Plymouth And I'm off to Chicksha.
