Ed I can check later this week but I do know that a 59 Dodge D100 truck 318 block is the same casting number as a 57-58 Fury 318. I had a guy from NV buy a truck block from me several years ago to have restamped on the front to match a cracked Fury block for a customers car he was restoring. Considering how many folks overseas were ripped off buying 301s with an F stamped .. I forgot who but whoever sent a phony FP to Australia forgot their harbor freight F stamp die on the intake! > > > Sent from my Verizon Wireless 4G LTE smartphone > > <div>-------- Original message --------</div><div>From: eddee@xxxxxxxxxxxxx </div><div>Date:04/21/2015 9:12 AM (GMT-05:00) </div><div>To: L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx </div><div>Subject: [FWDLK] FW: 301 block </div><div> > </div>Hello Members > > I am curious about something. > > Can anyone with an orig 301 PLYMOUTH block (1957 vintage) tell me the > casting number on the passenger side front of the block. > > I am just wondering how common that casting was and how long it was used > > We know it cannot be the same casting as the 56 303 block ( I dont > think) > But I do think its the same as the 57/58 318 FURY block??????????????? > > Just trying to figure what mother mopar did > > THANK YOU > ED ECKERSON > > ************************************************************* > > To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go to > http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1 > > Help the Forward Look with every eBay purchase by starting your search here: > http://www.ForwardLook.net/eBay > > Help the Forward Look with every Amazon purchase by clicking here: > http://www.ForwardLook.net/Amazon > > > ************************************************************* > > To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go to > http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1 > > Help the Forward Look with every eBay purchase by starting your search here: > http://www.ForwardLook.net/eBay > > Help the Forward Look with every Amazon purchase by clicking > > ------------------------------ > > End of L-FORWARDLOOK Digest - 16 Apr 2015 to 21 Apr 2015 (#2015-22) > ******************************************************************* ************************************************************* To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go to http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1 Help the Forward Look with every eBay purchase by starting your search here: http://www.ForwardLook.net/eBay Help the Forward Look with every Amazon purchase by clicking here: http://www.ForwardLook.net/Amazon |
