Hello, Vic!
Not much information is provided on your car's Paint & trim data
plate,
but, you can buy a copy of your car's IBM Build card from the
Chrysler Historical
Society, at:
http://www.chryslergroupllc.com/company/Heritage/Pages/Build-Records.aspx
Anyway, your 1956 Coronet 4-door sedan was built on or around
8/14/56, having
Sapphire White on its upper area with Crown Yellow on its 'saddle'
and lower areas.
Its interior is finished in the Coronet black/white motif.
D63-3 confirms the 1956 Dodge Custom Royal models; the 1956 Coronet
V/8 models have the models with prefixes of D63-1 (which your
car/engine should
have on it).
Your car's VIN confirms a Detroit build, and it IS of late build,
with it being
only 371 cars from the end of the Detroit Dodge production, at
35,167,854 .
Again, the C.H.S. should be able to sell you your car's 'birth
certificate'.

Is there a place I can get my
fender tag and vin # decoded
1956 Dodge coronet
Thanks !
Vic
