They have a texture. The sheen is somewhere around satin, not flat
and not semi-gloss. Not aware of any available paint coating. This
seems to be a common problem as a lot of “restored” Plymouths have the wrong
dash paint.
Seems like this may have been posted before, but what is the recommended
paint/coating for the dash-tops of these cars? Is it simply a "flat" (or
"matte"?) luster, and/or was there some other texturing involved?
What product(s) are recommended to recoat one of these dash-tops...and are
they available "stock" with the proper color options for 1955?
Thanks, Jason.
