When I rebuilt my 56, I put new stainless steel brake lines on and did not notice the length of the rubber hose going to the differential. Could have been anything. With that said, I believe that if you cannot find a hose long enough, that there are shops that can make one for you. If all fails, try your local brake shop.

I need a new on for the rear of my 56 Plymouth. Goes from the frame to the rear diff. The hose listed in the parts books is 2 inches shorter than the one I have on my car and I need the extra 2 inches. I'm not sure if at some point I used a hose from a different application (although I've looked up every application I could think of) or maybe the book have changed their listing from years ago and went to a different hose.

The book lists a 17" hose and I have a 19".
