I think he's doing an auto swap. I responed to his last email but never
heard back.
I have put a 3 speed auto(from a 64 polara) in my 56 plymouth and kept the
complete stock 1956 2 speed push button setup(buttons, shifter and bezel) It
did require some modifitaction the shifter plates that I can explain if he
likes.

  "3 speed" says MANUAL to me.  Otherwise we have Powerflite and
Torqueflite.

  Are you trying to put a manual in a 300b with a block-off plate for the
auto ?
