The two door suburban has only two windows that roll down.
I did find something interesting, though.
There were two Broadcast Sheets produced for the 1957 MY.
The first one is dated 9/56, and it is the original (laminated) one
I produced,
earlier.
The Second one is dated 2/57.
The early one has no Super D500 option coded for it.
The later one uses a previously blank code to state: " Super D-500"
And (here it comes); the later one has option code 385 (where the
earlier B.-Sheet
referenced as 2-door window lifts) being, now, blank.
BTW, that D501 with "power windows" option turned out to be a
convertible,
with the 4-power lifts (code 386).
Close, but no cigars.

Neil,
I can't say one way or another how they came, but look at
the attached photo of the 1957 Dodge order form. The dealer
would have to have some inside knowledge to know what checking
box 385 was going to give him.
I also have a Dodge Options ands Accessories price
bulletin dated October 30,1956. It lists the 4 window power
lift ( All except 2-Door Suburban ) and the tailgate window
lift ( Two Seat Wagons only ) as being available. No 2 window
power lift is offered in it.
