Subject: 56 Fury

According to the Standard Catalog of American Cars 1946-1975, the Fury only came with a single four barrel, Carter Type WCFB number 2442S.

According to Catalog of American Car Numbers 1950-59, the four barrel was standard, but a dual four barrel carb package for dealer installation was made available for the 277 and Fury 303 engines. This set up on the Fury increased the hp to 270.
