I understand that the 315 poly was used in Dodge cars 1956 thru 1956 (mainly the Custom Royal model; though other models could special order 315s for Coronets and Royals; I have a 315 in my 56 Custom Royal and 1956 Royal).

The 315 was used in Dodge trucks From 1957 thru 1959.  I am not sure if other V8s were also used in the trucks.

A 57 Dodge truck, 1/2 ton, would have a 315 or a 325? Just wondering for sure.
