Looks to me like a pair of some sort of side draft carbs adapted to a foul barrel intake manifold. Maybe Webers? Looks like the kind of set up that should be replaced with a single 4 bbgl or, even better for appearance, a nice set of dual quads. Of course the dual quad ram set up would be neat but boy are they expensive provided you can even find one.
