That works fine for you, if you have no ass-sets to protect.

Most states will only let you get away with that arrangement
for the balance of a particular coverage period, after you
might cancel a policy, mid-term, however.

That's why the rest of us need a lot of Un-insured Motorist and
Under-insured Motorist coverage on our policies.

One issue that everyone having such "Specialty" coverage on
their olde car(s) should be aware of is that their policy's coverage might
be very restrictive regarding the various TYPES of coverages (like the
above ones) which they can provide to you.

Also, you should have high coverage limits on your Medical Payments
coverage (like 100K), because whatever "deluxe" coverages that Allsnake or
Snake Farm might provide on your regular-drivers would NOT apply to
any losses that you might incur while driving your 'other' car.

These are only several reasons why the Specialty carriers' coverage might
appear to be reasonably priced : low coverage policy limits, and few available
individual coverages.
