Mike, I got the car a couple years ago in Michigan. It is a Gran
Coupe, but the headliner had mouse holes and tears, the paisley front seat a
couple tears, and the paisley top was pretty worn. The rear quarters had
some rust, and a couple small holes in the trunk. After a couple
Ohio winters, the top was falling apart, and the time to restore was
neigh. I found the paisley material in Oregon for the seats, but none
for the top, so I went with black from Legendary (they did not have a pattern
for the formal roof-line, although they thought they had) Legendary
worked with me, and ended up sending four tops, adjusting the fit each
time before getting it on target, but it came out nice. Local body shop
hung new rear quarters and painted it in K-5 Dark Burnt Orange Metallic paint
(I had a 70 Sport Fury in that color in the 70s) to replace the original
Tahitian brown. I fixed the trunk and detailed the engine
compartment. The headliner and carpet came from Headliner (GoLiners on
eBay) Mart in Texas and were right-on. The original paisley seat
material from SMS is beautiful. I added the 70 Fury power-bulge hood for
the built-in turn signals and muscular look. The car has a
360/Torqueflite, and those are the original wheels.
Still need to adjust the side windows, which have a tendency to shift
when going up, but may be taken care of with new window fuzzies and rubber
seals. Still haven't found a good dash (cracked), but still
looking. She starts right up easy every time, and has a nice
rumble.
Now, if I can only get to some of my other Mopar projects once the
weather breaks.... Think my next effort is on my 64 Fury convertible or
my 59 Coronet. They are the furthest-along right now.

Is your car Original, Renewed, or
modified? What is the power train?
Beautiful Car. It brings back a lot of
memories of post-high school days.
