Guess I got a hit. Ordered two ‘56 Plymouth dome lenses, two ‘55
DeSoto C pillar medallions and one ‘55 DeSoto shift knob about two years
ago. They were in my hands within three weeks. All were
perfect. The dome lenses have a yellow tint so they don’t look like
repros. The medallions are back-painted with what looks like real gold and
black paint.
Reports
of the FL forums suggest George is rather "hit-or-miss" and many have complained
that he can take a LONG time. No experience myself. I met
George. Helluva nice guy. But that really has no bearing on your
issue. Good luck.

Can anyone tell me
if George Laurie is still around? I sent him $415 in March on the
expectation he had some lenses ready to ship and had several replies from him
but now get no answers. (My apologies if this subject has been
previously discussed.)
