Re: [FWDLK] eBay

I think you guys are all looking at this wrong. If you adjust what you are looking for to include koozies, fuzzy dice, cardboard cut outs of Marilyn Monroe, drive-in trays and all that other "cool" stuff, there would be no problem.

No need to thank me. I'm here to help.

Check the "Sellers" box, then check the "Specific Sellers" and "Exclude", then add a long list. Keep adding sellers with the most junk until you run out of room.

It didn't take long for sellers to figure out that they can fill these up with every brand & year, and make their non-related garbage show up in our searches to vastly increase their exposure. It costs them nothing and if one person in a million buys something, then they are ahead. I haven't yet figured out how to exclude the "Interchange Part Number " and "Other Part Number" boxes from my searches.

I'm set up to receive new listings for my cars of interest, 1956 Plymouth, 1958 DeSoto, etc. Lately 90% of the stuff I'm getting that's supposed to be parts for that particular car are generic garbage like fuzzy dice and nut and bolt sets. What's up?
