Can always take it to a good shop and have the cylinder walls sonic tested for thickness. I think I have read that .200" is a good figure not to go below. Also may run into ring seal problems if the walls are too thin.

413's cast with thick enough walls to go the full route to std bore 440 size of 4.32??? has anyone done this? it appears so as a sample stroker has the extra bosses in a publication i recently saw, which unless its a 66 440 block.. it must be a 413 pushed out to a 4.32 bore to attain the 492 ish displacement with the 4.125 stroker crank [all numbers off the top of my head here- in case i need correcting]

stroker.
