Re: [FWDLK] A New Find

In the DeLorean world, these are referred to as "cave paintings" (mine has several in black magic marker).  They seem to be pretty common on auto assembly lines.

I found an old glass 7-Up bottle in my Monte Carlo's door years back, with a little note inside saying "It's my day OFF".  That car was built on Valentine's Day... someone must have been miffed about not getting time off for a romantic dinner, I guess.  Kind of surprised to find it there, 'cause it never rattled or anything, but strange stuff seems to happen on the lines all the time.

Back in 1988 I removed the gas tank from a '58 Belvedere 2dr hardtop.  A game of tic-tac-toe had been played on the top side of the tank in yellow grease pen.  The X's won that game as well!  I guess the "O" guy who worked on the line wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer...
