alone naming cars... in my case saying 57 or 58 plymouth 13 times would get
old fast! one of the popular favorites are "exner" a 57 fury with a/c,
and not abe... but "abby lincoln" a 57 premier convt... and the list goes
on!

[FWDLK] shipping
I am a service provider on uShip and have hauled various vehicles in
addition to customer cars from my restoration shop in Texas as well as my
own. It is a good site if you are careful to avoid brokers who may have
your car for several weeks. If you need anything hauled and I am going
your way, I will be happy to help out. Just log on to uShip and look
under the tab "Service Providers" for Harley Charley and check out my profile,
pictures of some of my Mopars and my 100% feedback rating. Taking a '53
GMC COE to Calif. Monday and bringing back my newly acquired '51 Ford flathead
V8. I like em all!!!
Thanks,
Charles

U-ship is great if you don't get impatient and take the first couple
of bids, I used it to ship my '59 Ford pickup I bought recently and
the first bids were more than four times as much and the last ones from
shippers, I ended up paying less than gas and tolls would have cost me to
get it myself with a truck and trailer. The flatbed guy was quick to go
get it, right on time delivering it and the truck was undamaged when I got
it.

Happy New Year!
I have used U-Ship in the past.
I shipped a drive shaft to Iowa from WI, had an 07 Dodge dually
shipped to WI from Louisiana, and a dually from Texas to WI.
It is a good way to find haulers, just be sure to check out their
feedback or references. Like in any trade, there will be
those who don't deserve your business. Of the three times I have
used U-ship, one hauler was late, late, late! He had excuses,
but none were really valid. Just a lousy business man
with no business doing business. Just beware and check
references and feedback...ask questions! John in WI
